Modi Meets Netanyahu to Strengthen Defense, Trade Ties

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a strengthening of defense, trade and counter-terrorism ties with Israel during a rare visit — his first in nine years. Defense relations between the nations are an “important pillar” of the partnership, Modi said in an address to the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, after arriving in Tel Aviv where he was met by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
