EU Forecasts Show Stagflationary Shock, Dombrovskis Says

European Economy Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis says the euro area is facing a “stagflationary shock” as real GDP forecasts for 2026 dip, and inflation is seen accelerating beyond the European Central Bank’s 2% target.
