Affordability Is Top Issue for Voters: Atlanta Mayor

Andre Dickens, Mayor of Atlanta, says turnout has been “pretty good” on primary day in Georgia and that affordability is top of mind for voters, citing the cost of rent, gas, food and health care. Dickens discusses his Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative, including investments in affordable housing, early childhood learning and food access. He also discusses how Atlanta is using artificial intelligence, and how the city is preparing to host FIFA World Cup matches in 2026.
