Trump to Terminate Syria Sanctions Program, White House Says

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on Monday terminating the US sanctions program against Syria, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said, a bid to boost the nation’s struggling economy and support the new government after rebels overthrew President Bashar Al-Assad last year.
