Peru Declares Emergency as Migrants Block Border with Chile

Peruvian President José Jerí enacted a state of emergency on Friday, as migrants block the country’s southern border with Chile, from where undocumented foreigners are apparently fleeing ahead of a threatened crackdown on migration.
