Tanzanian Election Violence Leaves 100 People Dead, Group Says

Unrest in Tanzania following this week’s election that barred the incumbent president’s main rivals left about 100 people dead, Amnesty International said. The country’s biggest opposition party said hundreds more may have been killed.
