Attorney General Pam Bondi is leaving after a tumultuous tenure and some high-profile stumbles in her efforts to carry out President Donald Trump’s agenda Trump announced in a social media post Bondi would move to “a much needed and important job in the private sector” and her deputy, Todd Blanche, will be acting attorney general. Trump called Bondi “a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend” and applauded her work to drive down crime.
