New York City Mayor’s Race Sees Highest Turnout in Decades

New Yorkers are flocking to the polls at the fastest pace in decades, with 1,748,698 votes recorded by 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to the city’s Board of Elections. That total includes about 735,000 cast during the early voting period.
