Kallas Says EU Mustn’t Fail on Ukraine Loan Agreement

European Union Foreign Policy Chief, Kaja Kallas discusses efforts to approve a massive loan to Ukraine backed by frozen Russian assets, a plan which Belgium is resisting. “Belgium is under a lot of pressure from Russia, from a lot of Europeans, also from from United States,” Kallas tells Bloomberg’s Oliver Crook in Brussels. “If we have the European proposal, then Belgium is just abiding the law. So anybody who has anything to say against can go to court against the European Union, which means that everybody, all the European countries are liable.” (Source: Bloomberg)
