Johannesburg Mayor Asked to Explain $1.4 Billion of Wasted Funds

Johannesburg’s mayor has been asked to explain how South Africa’s richest city will recoup 24.4 billion rand ($1.4 billion) of funds squandered in “unauthorized, irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure.”
