GOP’s McCaul, Strong Ukraine Backer, Won’t Seek House Reelection

Representative Michael McCaul, a Texas Republican and strong supporter of Ukraine who stepped aside as chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee in January, said he won’t seek reelection in 2026.
