Cameroon Arrests Opposition Members Ahead of Election Results

Cameroonian gendarmes arrested more than 20 opposition members ahead of the proclamation of the Oct. 12 presidential election’s result, which is expected to confirm nonagenarian Paul Biya’s victory to serve another seven-year term despite allegations of voting irregularities.
