Australia to Spend $1.1 Billion on Underwater Strike Drones

Australia will invest A$1.7 billion ($1.1 billion) to develop and manufacture a submarine drone that can both surveil the oceans and conduct strikes — as part of efforts to expand the nation’s military capabilities.
