Sen. Ricketts: Funding Bill Solely Focused on ICE, CBP

Pete Ricketts, Republican Senator of Nebraska, says the Senate’s Vote-a-Rama is ‘solely about funding ICE and Border Patrol’ and that the funding bill cannot pass with an amendment to kill President Trump’s ‘anti-weaponization’ fund because it would lose its privileged status as a reconciliation bill. Senator Ricketts also discussed how he would ‘reserve judgement’ on Bill Pulte’s nomination for Intelligence Director and Todd Blanche’s nomination for Attorney General until they speak to the Senate.
