ICE Should Operate Under ‘Normal Rules’ of Law Enforcement, Says Brendan Boyle

Democrat Representative from Pennsylvania Brendan Boyle questioned why ICE is treated differently than other law enforcement officers when it comes to showing their faces to the public and said that the public is made ‘less safe’ by ICE’s conduct in Minneapolis. Boyle said he is skeptical that the White House can reach a deal on ICE reform before DHS funding runs out again and is concerned the government will face a long-term partial shutdown.
