Philippines to Deepen Japan Ties While US Focuses on Iran

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. told visiting Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi that their countries, both US treaty allies, will need to deepen cooperation in Asia even as Washington focuses much of its attention on the Middle East.
