Iran Threat ‘Still There:’ Sen. Blumenthal

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, says a New York Times report that Iran has regained access to most of its missile sites and launchers is “certainly no surprise” and is consistent with what he has heard from reliable sources. He says evidence shows Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, hard-core leadership, and enriched uranium remain in place, leaving President Trump in a “real dilemma” over the Strait of Hormuz. Blumenthal also reiterates support for suspending the federal gas tax and calls for passage of the Kids Online Safety Act.
