Bailey Says He’s ‘Shocked’ by Mandelson-Epstein Ties

Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said he was “shocked” by Peter Mandelson’s ties with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, adding that society must do some soul searching over the revelations. “How is it that we live in a society in which this happened while the cover-up happened as well,” Bailey said during a monetary policy press conference.
