Swedish Opposition Sees Bank Tax Helping Households to Spend

A tax that Sweden’s opposition Social Democrats want to levy on the country’s banks would lead to lower costs for households and help them regain some of the purchasing power they lost over recent years, according to the party’s economic spokesperson.
