Takaichi to Face Koizumi in Japan LDP Leadership Runoff Vote

Japan’s ruling party chose right-leaning Sanae Takaichi and political scion Shinjiro Koizumi to proceed to the runoff vote in its leadership race, in a poll that is also likely to determine who will become Japan’s next prime minister.
